nag nag nag

I got a few nags about not keeping my blog up.

Vacation

I miss vacation...actual go away and do something fun vacation. So this year, I get 1 mini vacation and one real vacation thanks to my sweetie!

We leave in a few days to head to destin, fl to a B&B. I cannot wait to sit on the sand, squish my toes in it, and soak up what little sun I allow myself (my perma-spot is usually under the umbrella! 1 skin cancer scare was enough...)

THe days are dragging....get here soon vacay, get here soon!

Sabotage

Over the past few weeks I have completed kick-boxing. I lost 6 inches and 4 lbs. Now I have a personal trainer (3x's/week for 60 minutes) and bootcamp ( 3 hrs/week). I hurt. sore is not even close.

I have started doing sabatoge to my whole plan to get myself into shape. Snickers ans zaxby's being the drug of choice. Of course the next question is why -- not sure yet, but I am going to keep working on it.

I have been greatly blessed with friends and famly and a financee who keep my hopes up that I can lick it.

I also have depended on my addiction to the Biggest loser. Ali won this time and she is an inspiration to me.

Here is to all the soreness, tired body, sleeeping like a rock, and trying to minimize the splurge.

Tomorrow, I'm going hiking.

Kick-boxing my way through life

Today was my 1st cardio kick-boxing class....and it was not easy.
My gym is doing a "Kick-IT" month in their quest to help peole get interested into new activities. This is 3 nights a week for 1 month. I actually paid extra for this abuse. Tricep dips are my least favorie, but I did 50 sit-ups before it hurt too much. MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT!
I am super tired, but the instructor came over to me at the end and told me I did a good job.
Tomorrow is night #2, Hopefully I can get through it! Wish me luck!

Pleasantly Surprised

Today I was all geared up to do some yelling, but instead I was met with a group of women who were on time, prepared, and worked hard on the task at hand. We got out way early. Even when I let out some of my stress, it went pretty well. I was disappointed about some volunteers who did not keep their word, but I got a good positive feeling in my gut. The first one in a long time. I think today will definitely be okay........tomorrow we will start anew

Wedding Plans and Weight

Ever notice how when someone talks asks about wedding plans and dresses it makes you want to eat? My stress levels increases a lot. So for those who may want to know, here is what I know.

OCTOBER, KNOXVILLE.

I have noticed that there are not enough places where you can point and click your way through a wedding. I am not great at all the details. The details stress me out, but if I find that wedding planning place who can let me point and click my way through choosing cakes, flowers, etc, etc I will not hestitate to open my checkbook and give them all my money.
this may be my million dollar idea....hmmmmm
